"Ana" by The Pixies

As the song was from Bossanova, I expected it to be vague in term. Although the album and the song was originally about surf, I believe the song had a deeper meaning.

Indicates the singers interest in her

undressing in the sun
She begins to open up to him

return to sea - bye
However, fate plays its turn as they separate

forgetting everyone
Onto a quest of self-realization

A reference to the mysterious nature of her

ride a wave
To move on, and flow with life

There's sort of a double meaning in this song to me. One is the literal lyrical aspect. The other being a metaphorical poem for this so called "Ana".

All in all, the song had an eerie undertone, but the chords and progression fit rather nicely.
